I use a Gel pad I bought from JC Whitney site and the first time I rode with it we did 450KLM. It cost about $50.00 US and was worth 10 times that . You can always transfer it to you next bike, your next Savage I mean. I ride a 1986 with flat bars and my but killed me before the Pad.
